Charles and Dawn Beckendorf opened their first gallery of Charles' work in Houston, TX, in the early 1960's. In the mid-1960's, they moved to a small ranch north of Fredericksburg, TX, and in 1971, opened their Fredericksburg gallery at its orginal location - 519 East Main St. Today the family operates their gallery at its new 105 North Adams location in beautiful downtown Fredericksburg.
The gallery features prints, books, and sculpture by Charles Beckendorf. His subject matter is diverse... from wildlife and western to landscape and nostalgia. His prints range from small color reproductions to large hand watercolored original lithographs. His books are beautiful, entertaining and educational. Charles left a wonderful legacy that lives on through his spectacular artwork depicting the beauty of Texas.
